Mark's current projects include  (1) the evolution of AI and its impact on work, organisations, and society,  (2) the role of cultural and legal precedent in cases where diffusion attracts opposition,  (3) "task mining" methods for extracting tasks and task interdependencies from the text of job descriptions, and  (4) understanding how individuals pick the people they rely on for friendship, help, and advice in work and life.

David Shrier is the Founding Director of the Trusted AI Alliance, and Professor of Practice, AI & Innovation with Imperial College London, where he leads the cross-College AI Ventures module as well as the Fintech Strategy module. He is also a Visiting Scholar with MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL). In addition to his academic work, David directs venture studio Visionary Future, whose portfolio companies are advancing the frontier of AI across platform systems, fintech, bioscience, and energy & sustainability. 


He currently is developing an economic value and management model for intelligence, an organisational workforce transformation framework, a new intelligence acceleration technology platform, a systems approach to driving change at scale, and elaborations of his work on AI policy.


David has advised over 100 national governments on technology policy. Author of many works on the impact of technology on business, government and society, his most recent book is Basic AI: A Human Guide to Artificial Intelligence (Hachette & Harvard Business Press, 2024).

She is a frequent speaker and contributor on AI Policy at global AI events

Ayisha is a strategic alliance builder with a strong business background and with extensive experience in Government Affairs tackling complex regulatory & fiscal challenges through working with politicians, diplomatic missions, international organizations, government ministries, consumer and business associations.

She has over 20 years of experience in the private & public sector, including with the United Nations. Prior to joining ETH Zurich and setting up RegHorizon, Ayisha was Senior Director of Business Development and Corporate Affairs within a large multinational, where she built and led cross-functional teams and projects spanning diverse geographies, including Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

He founded the Digital Wellness Lab and the Clinic for Interactive Media and Internet Disorders at Boston Children’s Hospital to bring together researchers, clinicians, and tech/media leaders to research the positive and negative effects of media and technology on children’s and teens’ health and wellbeing, and to use this research to respond to and innovate a digital environment in which we can raise healthy, smart, and kind children.
